All other shows have been booked or are still being worked on.

December 2014 Update

So once again, we really don't keep up with this blog at all. We've been playing gigs in and around Detroit.  I've finally had some time on my hands that I'd fill in some gaps including the future of SCUM. We have finished the recordings for an LP that hopefully will come out before we head down to Texas to play Bad Ass Weekend III. We are just waiting for the mixes to come back at us so we can send them to the plant and get working on art for this release. As of now I can't recall if we have any shows coming up in January//February in our area but I know some day we are playing bad ass weekend in Texas in February and probably trying to work out some other dates on our way down to that. After that fest our vocalist is leaving for 6 months to a year to travel the country.  We have agreed that no one wants to disband, but we will be taking a break until he comes back to Detroit (if he chooses to do so). Below is the flyer for the fest in Texas. I don't even know the specific date we are playing.  Some after party show. I'm sure you can find more info on their website. That is all.

New Scum Tapes now available.

20 were originally released when we went to Canada for a weekend and we sold them all.

Since then acouple people have hit us up unexpectedly from the states asking for them.

We made another 30 for distribution.  And as of now 9 are spoken for.

The tape contains 8 tracks in 9 minutes. 3 of which are rerecorded songs of the 2011 Demo and Nuclear Winter. The other 5 songs are all unreleased tracks.

Thank you Toronto and London

Thank you to all who made this weekend a killer time outside of our city.
Cheers to Steve for hooking us up with a bass amp, to Greg who hooked us up with a gig in Toronto
last minute and got us legit paperwork to cross the border with. Cheers to Absolut from Toronto (your
set was killer// raw punk forever), to Ivan for helping us get into connection with Greg, putting us up for the night and half a day making food, chilling, jamming records and shit. And to all the people who came out to the Toronto gig.Cheers.
Cheers to Jacob and Ryan from SYNDROME outta London and a big thank you to Jacob's family as well.  You all treated us so well.  Chilling, skating on ice, making breakfast (that ruled!). Thanks to Dave who booked the London show in a packed basement full of sweaty people. The gig was awesome.  Thanks to everyone who came out and raged. Lastly and most importantly we couldn't have even left the goddamn city if it wasn't for our essential personal Zach who drove our smelly arses there and back.

5 Months Later...

So once again we don't keep up with this.
We were busy playing shows the past 5 months and practicing not so often.
But as of now we don't have any booked and we are looking into practicing, writing, and recording.
So there has been some talk about doing a descent enough recording to put out some wax.
No specifics yet, but I posted a rough recording of one of our newish songs. Check it out.
Along with the rough recording I also uploaded a live recording of part of our set in Windsor from awhile back. They are both on the right --->  Enjoy.
We will try and keep this thing up to date...

We are so bad at keeping up with the internet shits.
First of all cheers to all who came out in support of the last two Digby house shows in Windsor this weekend.  We all had a great time camping out, getting to know new people, and fucking raging for two days!  Thanks to Steve and Alexa for hosting the shows at their house, cooking food for a bunch of stinking punks, and for the free delicious homebrew kegs!  We love you both immensely and will miss you while your out discovering the broader scope of land on this planet.  Special cheers go out to our London buddies THE SYNDROME! Below are some photos and a video taken at the Digby this past weekend by Mike Woodford.  Presently the next show we are playing is June 6th with Asile(Canada), LTxDAN, and SHITFUCKER.  Still waiting for specific info on that but we will try and keep it as up to date as possible. First of all a huge thank you to NICK RORICK for driving our asses to chicago and minneapolis while he was sick! And in Chicago we would like to thank Adam who booked the show, Mez and Burt who hosted the show at the 2040, Asphyxiate, Decay after Death, and Cold Cell cheers to all of you. Also thank you to Brendan and Devin for putting us up for the night. Blood spit nights in Chicago! Next is Minneapolis, thank you to Rachel who cooked us some really good food and let us stay at her house for the night, Travis for booking and putting together the show, The Medusa for hosting the show, all who came out for it, Disthroned Agony, DFORM (fucking dbeat till death!!), and Chodie Foster, also a shoutout to Gracie and all for hosting the show at the Medusa, Skorpian, and all the guys at Extreme Noise (fucking killer record store all run by volunteers). holy shit, its been 6 months since we updated this thing. first off, thanks to everyone who helped us on our august tour. whether you booked us a show, fed us, let us crash, or got us fucked up. it means a lot. second, were not dead, and are going to re-record the modern warfare tape with some new some songs with our friend nolan. he does good work. and were stoked to hear what we sound like not recording with just one mic plugged into a 4 track. although thats still the preferred method of recording! dont have many pictures from tour, but heres an old one from when we first started the band, scum on beach.

Firstly, thank you to all the people that came out and supported us on our minitour to Appleton WISCONSIN, Chicago  ILLINOIS, and back home in Detroit.
Cheers to: Dan "THE MANAGER" Doogashellski for successfully helping us erase 19 awful tapes and replace them with our third practice done in July of 2011.  All those tapes were sold on tour. Nick "THE DRIVER" Rorick for saving us from death on those slick Wisconsin highways. Brent "the 15 year old booker" of the Appleton show. We need more youth like you in Detroit. First pressing of Nuclear Winter EP is sold out but we are in the process of making the second pressing
All 19 Rough War 6 minute tapes done for this tour are sold out and wont be made ever again.
